God's preservation

I am no longer young, though in view of eternity I am an infant. Yesterday completed a nearly 4,000 mile (6,500 kilometer) journey by car in about a week. The highways in the US continue to deteriorate. Once out of a city, half the vehicles are huge trucks. In my little car I am like a mouse among elephants. The inherent sin nature of humanity is clearly shown in ever increasing anarchy by motorists. Traffic enforcement is limited. God graciously preserved my 16 year old vehicle which now has 275,000 miles (443,500 kilometers). He also preserved me who could have been killed by crazy drivers at any point. I hope to never make a long distance journey by car ever again. Thank God for His mercy to me. He alone is worthy of praise.
