The Mailman

As I prepare to depart to Brazil for my eighth visit, I find that a number of brethren have asked me to send updates. As in 2009 when I spent a year traveling around the country, it seems the best way to do that is to revive my blog InthefootstepsofTychicus@blogspot.com Why Tychicus? He was one of Paul's companions, mentioned five times in the New Testament, and quite favorably.He is given the considerable honor of carrying several of Paul's prison letters,inspired Scripture, from Rome to Asia Minor, now Turkey. Probably Ephesians, Colossians and Philemon. When I consider how arduous travel was in the first century, and how precious were the documents that Tychicus carried, I am humbled to follow in his footsteps.
